Ripple CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, made major news this week when he predicted that “dozens” of banks will use Ripple in 2019.
Ripple explained
While you have to be hiding under a rock to be unaware of Bitcoin, many investors are unfamiliar with Ripple. Simply put, Ripple is a real-time gross settlement, currency exchange and remittance network. Ripple allows secure, instant, and practically free global financial transactions of any size - yes, you read that correctly.
Major Banks and Institutions are already testing Ripple
Considering banks would be able to transfer huge sums of money across the globe with little to no costs, it make sense that Garlinghouse is so confident that dozens of banks will adopt Ripple as a means of conducting financial transactions. As a matter of fact, Santander, UBS, and UniCredit (Three of Europe’s biggest banks) are already testing Ripple, and many others are sure to follow.
In addition to banks, money transfer services like Western Union and Moneygram have also started using Ripple. In addition to being able to transfer large sums of money at an insignificant cost, Ripple has just a four second transaction time, making it a game changer in the money transfer business.
Now is the time to invest in Ripple
This prediction by the Ripple CEO, as well as the testing of cryptocurrencies like Ripple and Ethereum by major financial institutions is further proof that not only are cryptocurrencies here to stay, but are the way of the future. While many smaller investors are still nervous about cryptos, major companies are investing heavy.
Smaller and individual investors in today’s market would be wise to pay attention the major companies investing in cryptocurrencies. When you see huge multi global companies adopting cryptocurrencies like Ripple and Ethereum and making them integral to their business practices, you can be assured that these cryptos have huge potential. By investing in a Ripple IRA, you have the opportunity to benefit from the research and due diligence of the major banks and get in on the ground floor.
If Brad Garlinghouse’s prediction is accurate, those invested in Ripple could see an astronomical return on their investment by 2019.
